Hi, I’m Jake. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan College of Engineering with a degree in Computer Science. I’ve been tutoring math and computer science for over a decade where I’ve worked with students across a wide range of levels, from Algebra through Calculus, as well as programming and computer science topics. Sessions often focus on homework help, test preparation, or programming project guidance. I’ve worked with families seeking long-term, individualized academic support and have helped train and mentor other tutors.
Before moving into education after college, I spent my summers interning as a software engineer at at Apple and at a quantitative trading firm in Chicago. Additionaly, I teach Calculus part-time at Jackson Hole Community School and coach travel hockey. Learn more about my background here.
